Keystone Ranch Hayride Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

I was so thrilled when Brian and Annie asked me if I could also photograph their Keystone Ranch Hayride Rehearsal Dinner. Their families came from all over the country to attend their wedding, so Brian and Annie had a very large group for their rehearsal dinner. We took a hayride with gorgeous and sweet horses up to Keystone's Original Homestead through Soda Creek Valley. My assistant Jen and I took the hayride up with them and photographed everyone having a blast drinking, dancing, talking and enjoying each other's company. It was such a unique and thoughtful idea to show so many of their guests another beautiful part of the Keystone area and of course it was an even better idea to have it photographed by their wedding photographers! Now they can enjoy these memories forever! We don't usually photograph a lot of rehearsal dinners, but we are sure glad we didn't miss this one!

We met Brian, Annie, their bridal party, their families and all of their out of town guests met us at the River Run bus stop in Keystone, Colorado to start on their wonderful adventure the night before their wedding on top of the mountain!

We all hopped on two buses to head to Keystone Ranch.
We all loaded up into the horse carriages for our hayride to the homestead.
We took a 30 minute scenic horse-drawn wagon ride through Soda Creek Valley to Keystone's original homestead.
We had a light drizzle, but it was an absolutely beautiful ride!
The Soda Creek Valley was just gorgeous, especially since the light rain had brightened up the colors of the landscape.
Once we arrived at the homestead everyone went to go wait out the drizzle, I went with the bride and groom to take a few photos with the horses and the gorgeous backdrop.
Such a wonderful time with a beautiful couple in front of the Soda Creek Valley
After we finished up the photos, it was time to eat the delicious BBQ dinner! Ribs and all the yummy sides!
The kids loved roasting marshmallows and listening to the campfire songs sung by the Keystone Homestead's guitar player.
There were beers, soda, horseshoots, cattle roping and the firepit for everyone to enjoy!
Brian and Annie LOVE snowboarding, so they had this adorable cake made for the guests!
It was such a fun time to interact with all of their guests since the wedding day gets so busy!
The Keystone Wagon Ride Dinner was such a great idea for a rehearsal dinner!
And to end the night, Annie and Brian shared one last dance as a dating couple before their wedding day.

  1. The beauty about this place is that it's not just a unique space in itself, but it's a full-service catering space as well, and the food at Chicago wedding venues is incredible. We worked / developed a relationship with them over the course, and nothing is out of reach.

  2. The level of service at I got with these guys was above and beyond so I felt inspired to write about this Flower Delivery Near Me. The florist was absolutely lovely and kind. I had an idea of what I wanted in looser terms that she listened to and quickly got on the same page of.
