Okay, I am VERY happy with the outcome of this wedding. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful couple and a beautiful wedding.... but there was so much emotion. More than your typical wedding. And I really feel like these photos reflect the emotion and the happiness of the day. These are some of my favorite "getting ready" photos of a bride... not because it was some gorgeous room or anything, but because of the Moms! And the formal portraits. I have to say, Mark was one of my favorite grooms this year. Of course Brittany was a fabulous bride... but many grooms are not exactly excited about photos and are shy about being emotional around others. Mark literally showed how much he loves Brittany in every frame which is why it was so incredibly difficult to choose which photos to share with you all. So it is kind of a long blog post.

SUCH a sweet First Look!

They make such a GORGEOUS couple!

Okay, so some of you might not 'get' the portraits below in the burn area.

 The devastating Black Forest Fire that claimed two lives and several hundred homes earlier this year came very close to this couple's venue. In fact, this area is about a block away.

Mark, is a firefighter if you didn't notice.... so during the fire, he was actually out fighting it!

And even checked on the venue for his very stressed out bride a few times.

Thankfully, the brave and wonderful firefighters were able to put out the catastrophic blaze and saved many more buildings, homes and even this wedding venue from destruction.

Although all of this did not happen on the day of the wedding, it was still a very big part of their time leading up to the wedding.

After we finished the first look and all of the formal portraits, the beautiful ceremony started!

The caterer that Mark and Brittany chose was FABULOUS! Seriously one of the best caterers that we saw all year! They made delicious BBQ and had yummy snow cones for desert!
