Coors Field Engagement Session - REI Denver Engagement Session - Starbucks Engagement Session 

I had an absolute blast photographing professional baseball player Josh Rutledge and his stunning fiance, former Miss Florida Laura Mckeeman! Josh and Laura randomly found my work online and fell in love with it! We had dinner together and discussed what they wanted... and I think it turned out perfectly! 

Of course we started out at Coors Field in Denver, CO. I grew up going to ball games there and dreaming of the day I would be a General Manager... Well I didn't become a GM of a pro baseball team, but I think being a photographer is pretty awesome too... Especially when your client plays baseball for your favorite baseball team! ;) Many of you may not know that Laura also frequently works at Coors Field.... She is a sideline reporter for Fox Sports San Diego and covers the Padres! Since the Padres are in the same division, they play here quite frequently! This was my second engagement session inside the stadium and I was just as wow'd as the first time! It is an amazing feeling being under the big league lights (even when they are turned off)! 

And for those of you who are wondering: YES, the outfield grass is spongy! ;)

Following Coors Field, we headed over to the REI Flagship Store in Denver. The beautiful architecture, some fun props and even a really cool Starbucks made this the perfect spot to shoot this part of our session! Josh loves to fish and I have been laughing pretty hard at his "selfies" on his instagram... Laura even said that the only time he takes a selfie is when he has a fish in his hand! He has spent some time fishing near the Crystal Creek Reservoir on Pikes Peak and at Todd Helton's ranch! We absolutely had a blast running around the store together while we hid from the rain outside!

After the rain stopped, we left REI and headed back downtown to do their formal shots! Laura just looked INCREDIBLE in that stunning red dress by Regalia Magnificent Apparel! Laura chose to wear red (her main wedding color) because they want to display these at the wedding! These shots are just so romantic and sweet. You can really see the amazing chemistry and love between them.

Some people would have looked at me like I was crazy when I told them to run through the pigeons, but they LOVED it! They were both laughing so hard! Especially Laura - as you can see!

We are so happy that we were able to photograph Josh and Laura's engagement session. They are such incredible and kind people and I am just so thankful that they fell in love with my work and called me!
It was an incredible experience! We hope to continue working with them in the future!
