First of all, welcome to our blog! 

This is our very first post! {YAY!} For those of you who are new to our work, please feel free to visit our website - www.callierieslingphotography.com or our facebook page - www.facebook.com/callierieslingphotography ! 

We will be posting "throwbacks" quite frequently, but it will take us a while to back - blog the rest of our work!

 Now, on to the good part! Gabe + Alexa contacted me several months ago about photographing their wedding in Texas! At the time I was already excited and over the spring, my anticipation grew when they came to Colorado for vacation and took the time to meet me for their engagement session! I couldn't help but notice how much they really loved each other and how excited they were... not just for the wedding, but for the next step in their lives together. A few short months after that, we made our way to Texas for the big day! Obviously there is a big difference between Colorado weather in mid March and North Texas weather in mid May... During our engagement session it was freezing cold and snowing and on their wedding day it got up to about 104° and there wasn't a cloud in the sky! 

Gabe + Alexa chose to be married at the Fellowship Church - Grapevine Campus because of it's incredible significance in their lives! Alexa had been baptized there and Gabe and Alexa had both become huge parts of the Fellowship Church community! Their reception was held just about 45 min away in Fort Worth at their usual hangout - The Usual Bar.  We had a wonderful time visiting the great state of Texas! We drove about 700 miles {11 hours} each way, totaling about 1400 miles {22 hours} of driving  to photograph this beautiful wedding! We are so glad that we were able to make the trip!
