Their wedding was completely romantic and thoughtful. They were married on Teo's grandparent's anniversary, their natural Rocky Mountain details paid tribute to their college ecology class where they met and they had heirlooms from Leslie's grandmothers on her bouquet and pinned on her reception dress.
Also please make sure you check out Teo and Leslie's Bridal Session HERE! Many of their couple portraits and their first look are available to see there!

Teo and his groomsmen all had boutonnieres made from old bullet shells (shot by the groom himself) and were put together by
Bella Calla Floral.
Teo is an avid hunter and I think all of the guys appreciated the masculine touch of the shells.
The Bridesmaid Dresses came from
EXPRESS
Brittani Estes did a wonderful job on Leslie's different hair styles! During her bridal session, Leslie had a gorgeous fishtail braid and on her wedding day, she wore it down with curls and a flower crown by
Bella Calla Florists
As Leslie was getting ready, she received pearl earrings from her groom to wear that day as well as a beautiful letter.
Leslie's custom made dress from Etsy's Eternal Brides also had a hand stitched patch with their names and wedding date.
Seriously! I just LOVE this bouquet with all of the pinecones, larkspur, hydrangeas, cotton and a few others mixed in! (gardening nerd right here :P )! Bella Calla did a wonderful job!
Leslie's makeup was beautifully done by Magnifica Bella!
The ceremony music was preformed by Levina Rodriguez on piano! I LOVE all of her turquoise!
The ceremony was officiated by Rocky Mountain Ceremonies - Kenneth Fuller
Waiting to see his bride!
Such a stunning entrance she had! She is truly a gorgeous bride!
And Teo knew it! He was so overcome with joy the second he saw her!
Her dad giving Leslie away.
Her eyes just totally popped in this lighting! It was gorgeous!
Emotions were getting to everyone!
The vows were beautiful!

And they kissed!
Greeting the world as husband and wife for the first time with the petals flying!
The view from Mt Vernon Country Club is absolutely stunning!
Teo and Leslie met during ecology class in college. We spent a month learning the common and Latin names for what felt like thousands of organisms in the Rocky Mountain ecosystem. Five years later we got married and wanted to draw in some of the elements from the ecology class where we met. The guest place cards doubled as a favor- a wood cookie with the guest and tree (table) name laser engraved into the wood. The wood slice could later be used as a coaster by guests.
Engraving done by: Colorado Laser Engraving
The table names were the names of trees found in the Rocky Mountain region. We included the common and Latin names of each tree on the table signs.
The wedding design was by Nicole Truax with Mount Vernon and Bustles n' Bows!
And their cocktail hour outside on the decks was a lot of fun for everyone!
We snuck away to finish their formal photos. Rings designed by
Emily Busch. Then Leslie changed into her gorgeous reception dress with the heirloom pin from her grandma! We took advantage of golden hour while their guests enjoyed cocktails.
UM this light is to DIE for! <3
There was a giant elk grazing right after we left and a bear not too long after!
Teo and Leslie hired a wonderful band - Chris Daniels and the Kings to play during their reception! The live music was such an added bonus!
Teo's grandfather has passed away, but the grandma who's anniversary is the same date that Teo and Leslie chose for their wedding date was able to attend and share a special dance with Teo!
Seriously one of the sweetest things I have ever seen!
It was such a beautiful summer night in Golden, CO for a wedding!
Leslie said: "We loved the idea of having an aspen tree wedding cake to continue the natural theme. Mount Vernon went above and beyond and even carved our initials into the cake. We loved it!"
The cake was a wonderful after dinner snack, but the real treat was delivered a few hours later for their Late Night Snack! VooDoo Doughnuts!
It was a HUGE hit with everyone!

What can we expect from you: There are so many things that are important to my photography style and make up the unique approach I have to each portrait session and wedding, but I will narrow it down to a few key things.
Personalities. Locations. Moments. Fun.
Each and every one of my clients is different. They all have different interests and unique stories. I pride myself on creating photographs that compliment the story of the couple and their friendship together.
I recently photographed Colorado Rockies pitcher and 3rd overall draft pick, Jon Gray and his beautiful wife's wedding. We photographed their bridal portraits together at Coors Field. His wife Jacklyn had contacted me a month or so before the wedding to see if I would be available to tenitively photograph their wedding so long as he had been called up to the big leauges. This was all up in the air, because that is how Major League Baseball works for these guys and their families... so his wife was planning 3 different weddings because they didn't know where they would be. When Jon was called up, the wedding in Denver was a go. The day finally came and after they said their vows in front of their parents (and me) and shared their first dance, we headed to Coors Field to take their couple portraits. We parked in the player's parking lot along the back side of the stadium and entered through these huge garage doors into the tunnel where we were greeted by the staff. As they entered the field through the huge door in Left Field, I captured them walking together hand in hand with all of the seats and lights of Coors Field high above them. That photo spoke to me. It told the story of their journey to the big leauges. It spoke of the debut Jon Gray had with the Rockies a little over 2 weeks before their wedding. Although I will never really understand the excitement they were feeling about Jon taking the mound for the first time in his Major League Debut and saying their vows to each other their wedding day, this image has so much significance to me. In my eyes, I see them hand in hand, taking on this new incredible journey in the Majors together, as husband and wife.
Every single one of my couples are unique. They have their own story to tell. I love to go to Keystone where they grew up skiing or snowboarding to photograph their engagment session. I love going to their family ranch and putting the bride on their horse in her wedding gown. I love climbing down the cliffs at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego to show how much my clients love surfing together. I love telling stories with photos. Sometimes it's something only the bride and groom will see. Sometimes it's something their families and friends will see and sometimes it's something the whole world will understand, but it is my job and passion to capture that moment.
For me, location is a huge part in telling everyone's story and then painting a beautiful picture of it. As a travel obsessed photographer and someone who loves to stand in awe of the landscape in front of me, the location is a huge tool I use to tell my client's story. The location doesn't need to be sentimental either. Sometimes it is about creating a new memory or moment in front of that backdrop. I draw a huge amount of my inspiration from the back drop... usually that is the foundation of each photo. I've been blessed to photograph in the 16th century Spanish fort Castillo San Felipe Del Morro in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and on the National Mall in Washington DC. I've told the stories of my clients on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA, and at Copper Mountain and Maroon Bells and the Broadmoor Hotel here in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Pretty much every place on earth has unique beauty and it is a very big part of the end result of my images.
I love having fun with my couples and doing something new. In my opinion people are the prettiest when they are laughing and enjoying themselves. I will ask you to be silly and to have fun. I will make stupid jokes and probably look really akward laying on the ground in the middle of the sidewalk in Downtown Denver. I will push the limits and create new and beautiful things.
This is my pride and my passion. This is what I love and I cannot wait to share it with all of you.
