Shades of Green Disney Resort - Orlando, Florida
We were thrilled when Kenny and Deanne contacted us to photograph their destination wedding in Orlando Florida at the Shades of Green Disney Resort that is exclusive to the brave men and women in our Armed Forces! Kenny is a firefighter for the United States Air Force!
My assistant and I flew in to Orlando a few days early and went to the Magic Kingdom park at Disney World! It turns out there was a tropical storm going on, so the park was completely empty! We hid under our ponchos but we still looked like someone had pushed us into a swimming pool! We were even able to ride Space Mountain a few times with only a 5-10 min wait!

The morning of the wedding, it was cloudy but not raining. The wedding was supposed to take place out at the gazebo in the middle of a beautifully landscaped garden with ponds surrounding it that afternoon. About a half hour before Deanne started getting ready, it started pouring. Unfortunately the rain did not stop until the following morning when we were leaving to fly home. It down-poured for over 10 hours straight and the rain didn't let up at all. The ceremony was moved indoors into a ballroom and we were limited on photos trying to stay dry, but we had a blast! Kenny and Deanne braved the weather at the end of their formal portraits and ran out into the pouring rain with us to take their final shots! Kenny and Deanne spent so much time planning every aspect of this wedding and although the weather made it tough, they overcame it and had a wonderful time!

Kenny and Deanne's wedding day was such a blast! Their family is all so amazing and we had a wonderful time!!! They are such a fun couple and we wish them many years of happiness!
